Dear Awesome Tic-Toc Parents,

You and your children are seen as being part of our family. The health and well-being of you and your children is of upmost importance to us and whilst it breaks my heart to have to close for the next few weeks, we have a responsibility to follow the instructions issued by the South African government. The COVID-19 VIRUS is bigger than us as individuals, but together, we can overcome it.

The President of South Africa has declared that all schools be closed until the 14th of April 2020 (including all ECD and partial care facilities) We will keep you updated should this date change.

Please take note of the following important information:
|
- Reports: We will be handing out reports within the first week of the 2nd Term
- Curriculum: Worksheets have been copied and will be sent home on Tuesday, 17 March. Lesson Plans will be sent via e-mail and the WhatsApp group.
- Finances: School fees still need to be paid in full. The school closure is a National Directive and we are forced to comply. Just as you are liable for school fees, we are liable to cover overhead expenses and salaries.
- Extra Murals: Extra mural teachers will be asked to create Whatsapp groups and “communicate” with you. Videos and links will be sent with the idea that children will be able to watch music lessons or learn new dance moves etc. This will obviously only be possible with some Extra Murals
- Concert Date: Concert has been moved to Sat, 28th Nov (not Toddlers)
- Channels of communication: Please ensure that you have joined our WhatsApp Group as we will be sharing free educational Apps and links with parents so that our ECD learners can have fun learning online whilst at home.
